Make a Child's Wish Come True

Our 35 Wishes program will continue throughout the remainder of the calendar year. In honor of our 35th anniversary celebrations, we hope to make 35 deserving children's "simple wishes" come true.

In May, Child Advocates partnered with One Special Wish to give our former client Dakota a day she'll remember for a very long time.

When asked what she wished for, Dakota said she liked jigsaw puzzles and wanted to go to the Zoo.  A call to our friends at the Philadelphia Zoo and it was set.  Dakota and her new parents were treated to some very special treats. The highlight of the day was when Dakota fed the polar bears, tossing fish to Klondike and Coldilocks, with a little help from her friend, Executive Director Frank Cervone.

If you would like to nominate a child for this program, or would like to sponsor a wish, please contact Moira Mulroney.

Social Media Month Contest-

Win a Lunch with Frank Cervone!

Have you ever found yourself thinking, "I wish I could really get to know  Executive Director Frank Cervone by sitting down with him for a delicious meal?" Well, here's your chance! During the month of August when you like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or connect with our LinkedIn group, your name will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a complimentary lunch with Frank. This is a great opportunity to talk politics and policy, gardening, or a chance to ask Frank whatever is on your mind.

Drawing will be held on August 31st and the winner will be notified via social media. Good luck!
